Chief of Staff

From our headquarters in Paris to our hubs in Berlin, Amsterdam, New York, Dusseldorf, Antwerp and Los Angeles, we’re working tirelessly to reshape transportation.

As Chief of Staff, you’ll help drive strategic priorities, oversee special projects, and support the founders in their daily operations, enabling them to focus on growing the company and delivering our vision.French speaking is not a requirement and non-french speakers are encouraged to apply to this position.

Based in Paris, you’ll act as a trusted partner to the founders, ensuring strategic priorities are identified, communicated, and executed effectively.

• Work closely with the founders and the Upway leadership team to define and execute strategic priorities.
• Drive execution of critical initiatives by monitoring progress, resolving blockers, and ensuring delivery of impactful outcomes.
• Prepare materials for broader team communications and internal meetings to ensure effective company communication
• Represent the founders in key internal and external meetings, driving follow-up and alignment across teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve organizational efficiency and maintain a strong company culture.

• > 5 years of experience in strategic or operational roles, such as consulting, ideally in an international fast-paced startup environment.
• Stellar judgment, allowing you to disambiguate complex problems and drive forward critical initiatives
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills in English, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
• High emotional intelligence, with a collaborative approach and genuine care for building a positive team culture.
• A passion for sustainability, mobility, and working on meaningful projects that have a tangible impact on the world.

The position is based in Paris, but might require travel (up to 25% of the time).
