We are looking for a Director of Sales Strategy & Operations to build and lead our commercial performance engine in France.

This role sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, and leadership.

It covers three critical areas: Sales Operations, Sales Enablement, and Sales Analytics.

The mission is to help the business scale by improving the productivity of sales teams, the effectiveness of sales managers, the quality of commercial decision-making, and the discipline of execution.

This is a high-impact role with strong exposure to 1. The CCO 2. The France leadership team and COMEX 3. European Group Functions like Tech, Product, Data.

Mission

1. Lead the commercial performance agenda

  • Build and run the commercial operating system across targets, KPIs, performance cadences, pipeline reviews, forecast routines, and business reviews
  • Improve the quality and consistency of commercial execution across teams and segments
  • Support strategic decisions through robust performance analysis and clear business insights
  • Drive a culture of accountability, focus, and measurable impact

2. Lead Sales Operations

  • Design and optimize core sales processes, governance, and operating rhythms
  • Improve territory design, account allocation, funnel management, forecasting, and performance tracking
  • Own the evolution of Salesforce and the wider sales tech stack as tools for productivity and quality execution
  • Increase process simplicity, data reliability, and operational scalability

3. Lead Sales Enablement

  • Build the enablement strategy for sales teams and sales managers
  • Develop onboarding, training, playbooks, manager routines, and capability-building programs
  • Ensure enablement efforts translate into real adoption, stronger execution, and better outcomes
  • Raise the bar on sales management excellence

4. Lead Sales Analytics

  • Build a strong analytical layer to monitor productivity, pipeline health, conversion, retention, upsell, and overall commercial effectiveness
  • Turn data into actionable recommendations for leaders and managers
  • Identify performance gaps, root causes, and growth opportunities
  • Create dashboards and decision tools that support action, not just reporting

5. Lead and develop the team

  • Manage and develop a team of 12–18 FTEs across Sales Ops, Enablement, and Analytics
  • Set a high-performance culture with clear priorities, strong standards, and business orientation
  • Ensure the team is seen as a strategic partner to the commercial organization, not a support function
Expected
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in Sales Performance, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Strategy & Operations, Commercial Excellence, or equivalent roles
  • Strong academic background
  • Significant experience in tech companies, digital businesses, SaaS, marketplaces, internet platforms, or other scaling environments
  • Strong understanding of sales functions and commercial business models, especially with recurring revenue
  • Proven ability to scale commercial systems, tools, governance, and teams
  • Strong executive leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong analytical capabilities and high business judgment
  • Deep familiarity with Salesforce and modern sales tech environments
  • Prior experience in a top strategy consulting firm is highly valued
  • Fluent French and English required
